I want to know what the Tahleel and Taqdees which the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, told us to be steadfast on are, as seen in the following reference?
The Prophet, sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said, “Hold fast to Tasbeeh, Tahleel, and Taqdees, and close the fingertips, for indeed they shall be questioned, and they will be made to.. More
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu. Is it acceptable to judge people's tendencies based on religion? I am asking because I was talking with my family and my mom was talking about a certain individual who did some wrong things. My dad then asked her what his religion was. I then asked my dad why he would ask such a thing, but I know that.. More
Assalaamu alaykum, Shaykh. I would like to ask you a question. First of all, I am a student. In my early years, I was always hard to wake up, to the point that I would miss the morning prayer frequenty, but I would still pray around 6AM. So I think (I am still in doubt; I am not sure whether I did do it or not); it appears in my mind that one day I.. More
Assalaamu alaikum. If a small child who is learning how to speak sneezes, should I say, “Alhamdulillaah” to him so that he may learn it and say it when he sneezes, or should I say “YarhamukAllaah,” or should I keep quiet?

Assalaamu alaykum. I would like to know what a person should do when they are dealing with a toxic person/mentally sick person? Did Prophet Muhammad said anything on how we should treat these individuals when they are interacting with others? I have an aunt who is quite toxic, and she often picks fights with other family members. They all tried their.. More
In the name of Allaah. Assalaamu alaykum. Sometimes we do good deeds but the intention is not for the sake of Allaah (and the hereafter) but is associated with wordly interests and benefit; like being polite to seniors and colleagues at work and greeting them with the Salaam. (If we do not do that, they will think bad about us). Is this Shirk (polytheism)?

Assalaamu alaykum. The legislations of Islam have many worldly benefits, and the Islamic lifestyle also protects us from much harm. If one follows the Islamic legislations predominantly to achieve these worldly benefits of Islam, does that go against sincerity?

Assalaamu alaykum, Scholar. My questions is regarding speaking good to parents by using good words. In my case, I feel shy or embarassed to use words as ‘my beloved father’, or, ‘I love you father’, or ‘may Allaah protect you’, or, ‘may Allaah forgive you’, and so on. I do not live in a religious family or in a family where these expressions.. More

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu. My mother does not wear the hijab, she does not even wear a scarf on her head (may Allaah guide her), so I feel ashamed to walk with her or go out with her, regardless of whether I am in a Muslim country or not. Is this normal? Notice that I do not reject her when she asks me to go out with her to have.. More
My mum, my siblings, and I are living in poverty because my father never gave us any money; he used to give all his money to his adult, married siblings and parents and has given all his lands and property to them, leaving us with nothing. His siblings brainwashed him into giving everything to them for 20 years and turned him against my mother, and.. More
Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, Shaykh. Is replying to the Salaam greeting by typing on a device, writing on a paper, or simply moving one's lips sufficient if one fears that a throat problem may become worse by speaking? I speak about emergency cases only, as I am having a sore throat and difficulty speaking these days, and it worsens.. More
I have a question about the following hadith:
“The Muslim is not allowed to abandon a Muslim brother for more than three days. If three days pass and he meets him, he should greet him. If he (the other believer) returns his greeting, then they share the reward, but if he does not return it, he (alone) will incur the sin.”
My question is, when.. More
Assalaamu alaykom. My mother lives with me as I am an only child. She suffers from alzheimer and OCD and has mobility and continence issues.
